WEDDING DATE: September 16, 2021 | VENUE: Renault Winery
My wedding wouldn’t have happened without Ryan. We got engaged right when the pandemic started. As a critical care nurse, I knew I didn’t have the time or mental capacity to plan a wedding. Ryan and I had a zoom call and I told her my vision and my budget, and she made it happen. She would send me emails with a few vendors and their info and cost. I would review them and pick one and she was able to make all the call and get the contracts to me so all I had to do is review and sign. Whenever I had a question or had an idea Ryan was always available to chat with and discuss it. A week before the wedding we went over all the things I was bringing and what I wanted done. When it was the day of the wedding Ryan arrived to the suite. At the time it was raining, and I needed to make the call to move our ceremony inside. Ryan was able to keep them from moving things inside and was able to convince them to keep it outside. Our cocktail hour was moved inside, and Ryan was able to make sure all of my signs were moved and in the right spot. She also helped set up the venue inside for the reception and made sure the rest of the night ran smoothly. I had some communication issues with the venue and Ryan was able to help me handle them. I’m forever grateful for Ryan and her help. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner or coordinator. I can’t thank her enough!
WEDDING DATE: August 7, 2021 | VENUE: Sandy Hook Chapel
I had the pleasure of working with Ryan as my Day of Coordinator and cannot say enough great things! My venue was a little tricky and everything had to be brought in. Ryan took all the info, called and scheduled deliveries and was there to greet the vendors. She put out all my centerpieces and décor exactly where I envisioned. I highly recommend her!
WEDDING DATE: June 19, 2021 | VENUE: Bareli’s by the Sea
There are not enough good things I can say about Ryan; from the moment I first spoke with her, she was kind, helpful, calm, fun to be around, and a wealth of information about wedding vendors, wedding planning, wedding day timelines and all other things wedding. She responded to EVERY email I sent within minutes, usually at 6am!, and always had an answer that helped calm my wedding nerves and take so much of the weight of planning off my shoulders. I cannot imagine how we would have organized and coordinated everything on the day of the wedding, especially setup and the timeline for the day, without Ryan’s hands-on guidance and expertise. I’ve actually been missing talking with her now that the big day has passed! She is truly a gem and I couldn’t offer a higher recommendation!
WEDDING DATE: May 20, 2021 | VENUE: Lakeview Day Camp, East Brunswick, NJ
We hired Ryan as a day of coordinator after we cancelled our venue due to covid-19. Since we no longer had the expertise of the venue coordinator and caterer, we felt it was very important to have someone to help with day of coordinating. After interviewing a few Day of Coordinators, it was clear Ryan would be the best fit. From day one, she has been incredibly responsive to all communication. She was happy to drive to our outdoor venue prior to us signing a contract. Ryan provided us with a lot of input prior to the wedding, she was always happy to schedule phone calls to help answer our questions. Our calls never felt rushed, we always felt like we had the answers we needed. She always took time to think about the best option for us given our concerns for covid. Even as our plans changed, Ryan was able to adapt to our changing covid requirements. Ryan was always calm and so so nice. Whenever she answered a question, I knew she took the time to think her answer through. She provided us with an extensive list of vendors as well.
On the day of the wedding, Ryan was incredibly calm. She arrived to the venue before I did and was already working. If anything at all went wrong on our wedding day, we honestly have no idea. Ryan took care of any issues on the wedding day. She communicated with all of our vendors in advance and on the wedding day. Truly, on the day of the wedding, we felt like there was nothing for us to do but enjoy. Ryan stayed for the entire event and helped clean up and save important items from the wedding.
We really enjoyed working with Ryan, she was so easy to talk to about our concerns. With covid, we really didn’t expect our wedding to be anything special. Ryan was able to help us pull everything together and helped create a magical day for us.
WEDDING DATE: October 10, 2020 | VENUE: Manalapan, NJ
Ryan was so nice and kept the day flowing. Having a day of coordinator was an essential part of our day. We had an amazing ceremony, cocktail hour, seated tented reception for 100 people in our backyard. I am glad we went with Ryan Van Duyne Events. Ryan was a pleasure to work with.
WEDDING DATE: September 13, 2020 | VENUE: Jackson, NJ
Ryan was recommended by a friend when our wedding plans suddenly shifted due to COVID. Our reception went from being held at a large venue where everything was taken care of, to in our own backyard, where we were on our own to coordinate everything. As the wedding drew nearer, we knew it would be a challenge to do it all on our own if we wanted to enjoy our wedding day. Thank goodness we hired Ryan for our wedding day coordinator! She is professional, friendly and organized. She arrived early in the morning, set up our entire reception with the decorations I had ordered and made sure that everything went according to the timeline she created for us beforehand. She also coordinated with all of our vendors (photographers, videographers, florist, trolley, food trucks, wait staff etc.) and made sure they were paid at the end of the night. It was so reassuring to know that Ryan was handling everything so that my husband and I could enjoy every moment of our day. Everything went so smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with how perfect everything turned out. Thank you so much, Ryan!!
WEDDING DATE: July 6, 2019 | VENUE: Laurita Winery, New Egypt, NJ | PHOTOGRAPHER: Marconi Photography
Hiring Ryan as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. From the beginning, I was happy to plan my wedding with my now husband and enjoyed the process. As it got to be about 2 months before the big day, a lot of the smaller details were starting to come together and I was feeling the pressure and nerves of being the go-to person for every question or potential issue that might pop up on my wedding day.
Planning this wedding with my husband and our families was very important to me, but so was being able to enjoy the big celebration we were putting so much care and thought into! I did not want to delegate the responsibilities to my bridal party or family, as I wanted them to all enjoy the day with minimal stress as well. That is when Ryan stepped in.
I met with Ryan for dinner one night and after a short time talking about my wedding plans, I knew I had to have her as our day-of coordinator. Right away I felt Ryan’s confidence and experience just by the questions she asked and the details she brought up that I had not covered yet. Most of the stress I felt at the time was creating the schedule of events from the morning of the wedding day all the way to the ceremony. Ryan was exactly who I needed to help me tie everything together – from the hair appointments, to the shuttle – and keep us all on schedule leading up to the ceremony!
From that day on, Ryan fell right in step with all of our plans and I quickly felt at ease with how fast she got up to speed and in touch with all of our vendors, as if she had been a part of the process from day one. Leading up to the wedding day, Ryan efficiently responded to all of my emails, as well as my vendors, and kept the lines of communication open and flowing from the first day we began working together all the way through the day of the wedding. Ryan put together a day-of time line from the first hair appointment that morning, to the last guest shuttle drop off at the end of the night.
On the day of the wedding, Ryan was in constant communication with all the vendors and kept everything running smoothly. She was with my bridal party and me for the entire day, helping everyone with anything they needed. I was so happy with how prepared she was for the little snags (literally) that may happen – like when I got a stain on my wedding dress! She had a perfect solution in the moment that covered up the stain. Now, when I look at the photos, I honestly forget that I had a stain on my dress. If Ryan had not been there, I’m not sure what we would have done!
Not only did Ryan help the entire wedding day go smoothly and made me feel totally at ease, she is an incredibly kind and sweet person. Having someone like Ryan as my advocate on my wedding day made me enjoy the whole day so much more. There were moments throughout the day – in various stages of getting ready, or moving to a new location to take pictures – where she would be there with me asking how I was doing or if I needed anything with a big smile on her face. She helped me to stay present throughout my wedding day and pause occasionally to take it all in and enjoy the whole day. She helped me not to sweat the small stuff in the moment, which can be quite challenging on such a big day!
I whole-heartedly recommend Ryan as a wedding day-of coordinator to any and all brides (and grooms!). Regardless of your wedding size, complexity, style, or traditions, Ryan will be an asset to you. She will help you organize all details and coordination, as well as keeping you happy and present throughout your wedding day and ensure you enjoy every minute, stress free!
Ryan, I can never thank you enough. You were an important part of our wedding day and I will never forget it. I am so happy you were there. This is truly your calling! Love, Laura Casimir
